U.S. Airmen from the 353rd Special Operations Group and 18th Logistics Readiness Squadron refuel a U.S. Marine Corps F-35B Lightning II from Marine Fighter Attack Squadron (VMFA) 121, during a forward area refueling point (FARP) training exercise June 27, 2017, at Kadena Air Base, Japan. The joint FARP operation from a U.S. Air Force Special Operations MC-130H Combat Talon II and MC-130J CommandoII was the first ever FARP exercise involving the F-35B Lightning II.
